Sakho teammate on 'World Stars'
While Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is expected to prevent goals for France, the man backed to strike at the other end features in the latest episode of LFCTV's 'World Stars' series.
As excitement builds for the World Cup, 20 instalments of the show will air, each documenting the career path of an individual tipped to impress when the tournament in Brazil kicks off this month.
Every edition includes a mix of exclusive interviews and match highlights of the player in focus, plus the thoughts and tributes of teammates, coaches and peers from the world of football.
Three Reds have taken centre stage - namely Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez - as have the likes of Xabi Alonso, Edinson Cavani, Lionel Messi, Neymar and more.
Now it is the turn of French international Olivier Giroud, who will share a dressing room with Sakho as Les Bleus seek glory in a competition that they last won on home soil 16 years ago.
