Markovic to wear No.50 at Liverpool

The 20-year-old forward arrived at the club midway through July, becoming Brendan Rodgers' fourth recruit of the current transfer window.

From his senior debut and successful spell with Partizan Belgrade to a season-long stay at Benfica, the Serbian wore the half-century on his jersey.

And it has now been confirmed that Markovic will retain the same number as he prepares for his debut campaign at Anfield.

The former incumbent of No.50, Cameron Brannagan, has switched to No.32.

Academy midfielder Jack Dunn, meanwhile, has been handed the No.41 jersey.
