The roof comes off the place
One of the highlights of Nicky Allt’s ‘Official Story of Liverpool Football Club’ is the show’s adaptation of America’s 1972 hit ‘A Horse with No Name’ performed by Daniel Ross, which is guaranteed to have the crowd on its feet joining in.
One of the show’s stars Jake Abraham tried to put into words the atmosphere when the song reaches its climax, saying:
“When Daniel performs it we’re all getting ready back stage for the part when the drums come in towards the end knowing the roof is going to come off the place.”
Daniel himself added: “It’s nuts and I think the play will transfer really well to an arena environment where the sound will be bigger and better.”
