Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has retained his place in the Brazilian national squad for their friendly double-header against Argentina and Japan next month.

The Reds' No.10 is part of coach Dunga's 22-man squad once more, following a pair of substitute appearances for the South Americans earlier in September.

Brazil meet World Cup finalists Argentina in Beijing on Saturday October 11 and then travel to Singapore to take on Japan three days later.

Coutinho, who has scored eight goals in 54 appearances since arriving at Anfield in January 2013, has amassed three international caps to date.
