Ahead of the 223rd Merseyside derby this weekend, LFCTV GO brings you an exclusive feature with Robbie Fowler, who recalls his memories of the famous encounter and what he predicts for Saturday's game.

Speaking at Anfield, the scene of so many classic meetings down the years, Fowler sums up perfectly what it means to wear red or blue in these unique ties, the weight of expectation on those players representing their local club and the emotions of finding the back of the net - as he did on six occasions.

A number of examples of what to expect from the chat can be found below, and scroll down the page to watch the entire conversation on demand. If you have not signed up already, click here to join now.

Fowler on scoring the winner in his first derby back in 1994...

"It was probably more special because having grown up as an Evertonian, I had always wanted to score against them [Liverpool] and beat them. Also, if memory serves me right, it was the last winning goal in front of the old Kop so it's a very good memory to have."

Fowler on derby day emotions...

"As soon as you come out of the tunnel you can actually feel the adrenaline coming down from the crowd. The games were always fast and frenetic with every player wanting to get the first tackle in, knowing that if you got in there first it would lift the crowd and that, in turn, would lift the players."

Fowler on last season's Anfield meeting...

"It was 4-0 in the end but I wanted more, and if it had have been a higher scoreline it would have been a game we would be talking about for years and years to come, just like when Rushie scored four goals at Goodison all those years ago."
