Swansea cup tie set for October 28
Liverpool's Capital One Cup fourth round tie against Swansea City at Anfield will be played on Tuesday October 28, with kick-off set for 8pm GMT.
The draw for the next stage of the competition on Wednesday evening pitted Brendan Rodgers' current side with his former employers, in a repeat of the same fixture in 2012.
A dramatic penalty shootout victory over Middlesbrough earlier this week, following a 2-2 home draw, had carried the Reds through, while the Welsh outfit progressed by beating Everton 3-0.
Liverpool are searching for a ninth League Cup triumph, having most recently lifted the trophy in February 2012 at Wembley. Swansea won the tournament the following season.
