On-loan Liverpool striker Divock Origi continued his fine start to the season by firing the only goal to hand Lille a 1-0 victory over Bastia on Saturday evening.

The 19-year-old Belgian agreed a deal to join the Reds in the summer but will spend the duration of the 2014-15 campaign with the aforementioned Ligue 1 club.

He has been prolific too, with the winner last night his third goal in six league appearances for Lille. Origi played the entire 90 minutes as they moved up to second place.

In the Championship, winger Jordon Ibe participated for 76 minutes of Derby County's 2-0 win at Bolton Wanderers.

Elsewhere in the same division, Joao Carlos Teixeira was an unused substitute for Brighton & Hove Albion in their goalless draw with Nottingham Forest.

Iago Aspas remained on the bench too, watching on as Sevilla were beaten 4-0 by Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
