Four Liverpool players have been selected in the latest England squad announced today – Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Raheem Sterling.

Henderson, Lambert and Sterling retain their places in the group from the country's last round of fixtures, while Lallana is recalled following his return to full fitness.

Roy Hodgson's team face a European Championship qualifying double-header, hosting San Marino at Wembley on Thursday October 9 before travelling to Estonia three days later.

The Three Lions kicked off their campaign to reach the 2016 tournament with an impressive 2-0 victory at group rivals Switzerland early last month.
