Loan watch: Jordon on the mark
Four of Liverpool's group of players out on loan were in action across the weekend, with news to report of a goal for one and an assist by another – read our round-up for more details.
On Saturday, Jordon Ibe played the entire match for Derby County in the Championship and punctuated his performance with a goal shortly before half-time. They ran out 3-0 winners at Reading.
In the same division, Joao Carlos Teixeira featured for the opening half-hour for Brighton & Hove Albion. Sami Hyypia's outfit were overturned 2-1 by Middlesbrough on home soil.
Later in the day, striker Divock Origi was involved throughout Lille's 2-1 defeat by Guingamp in Ligue 1 - a rare disappointment amid a bright start to the season for the Belgian.
On Sunday, Oussama Assaidi entered the action as a second-half substitute for Stoke City and, within three minutes, created the winning goal in a 2-1 home victory over Swansea City.
