Kop legend Dietmar Hamann will be the special guest at the 2014 and seventh annual German Reds official LFC supporters' club branch meeting at the Sandon in Anfield on Sunday.

Over 50 German Reds will be in attendance in the Acorn suite in the Sandon between 3pm GMT and 9pm on Sunday.

This will be the fourth meeting to actually take place in Liverpool since the inaugural branch meeting at the Ship & Mitre Pub in Liverpool city centre back in 2008. The previous meetings have been held in Helmstedt, Hamburg and last year in Berlin.

The event has once again been organised by the secretary of the German Reds - Liverpool born Graham Agg - a fluent German speaker who lived in Germany for over 10 years and is also known for organising the annual LFC supporters' friendship visits to Moenchengladbach, Germany.

The event this year will have two very special guest speakers, Hamann and 'The Voice of Anfield'. George Sephton - the stadium announcer at Anfield for over 43 years.

Agg said: "We are delighted to once again have the opportunity to be hosting this very special event in the Sandon - original home of Liverpool Football Club, where of course the club was formed back in 1892.

"It is a true honour for all our German Reds members to be attending the event in the legendary Sandon and it is superb to have two true LFC legends as Didi and George as guest speakers to address our membership."

The German Reds official LFC Supporters' Club (AIB) was formed by founder members Thomas Kunze, Benny Gondro and Uwe Kaiser in Dortmund back in 2001 on the day of the famous UEFA Cup victory against Alaves.
