CL trophy to tour six LFC stores
As the 10th anniversary of Liverpool's last Champions League triumph draws ever closer, fans will have an opportunity to become acquainted with the famous trophy at six of the club's retail stores later this month.
Almost a decade has now passed since the Reds recovered from a three-goal half-time deficit in Istanbul to ultimately defeat Italian giants AC Milan on penalties and hoist aloft the European Cup for a fifth time.
Ahead of the landmark, the silverware itself will be on location at each of our half-a-dozen official outlets in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland - Liverpool ONE, Williamson Square, Birkenhead, Chester, Dublin and Belfast.
It all begins on Tuesday November 11 at the Liverpool ONE store, where state-of-the-art green screen technology will allow supporters to take a photo with the trophy and have the image feature on a piece of club merchandise.
The tour will continue until Friday November 21, when it concludes at Castle Lane in Belfast, having visited each and every one of the other four venues in between. See below for full details.
