Photos: LFC legends thrill in Singapore
The Liverpool legends currently preparing for a much-anticipated match in Singapore at the weekend have caused quite a stir locally since their arrival earlier this week – and we have a selection of images from their stay to date.
An illustrious group of former Reds have made the journey to the Far East, including Patrik Berger, Robbie Fowler, Dietmar Hamann, Steve McManaman, Ian Rush, Vladimir Smicer and many more fan favourites from years gone by.
They will take to the field against a Singapore Masters team at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday at 11am GMT, in a game that can be watched live and exclusively on LFCTV HD complete with an hour of special build-up.
Our cameras have travelled out to the venue to ensure the finest coverage before, during and after an event that has already captured the imagination of the significant Liverpool fan base in the region.
The legends met the local press shortly after touching down to preview an exciting few days ahead and were soon posing for photographs, providing autographs and greeting passionate supporters gathered to meet their heroes.
