Bronze to leave Liverpool Ladies
Liverpool Ladies have today confirmed that Lucy Bronze will be leaving the club to join Manchester City Women.
On the transfer, Bronze said: "It has been an extremely difficult decision to leave Liverpool but I feel as though I need to experience a new challenge.
"I have loved every minute of my time at Liverpool and cannot thank my teammates and staff enough for an incredible two seasons.
"When I first joined the club we had previously finished bottom of the league yet we managed to defy all the odds to win the Women's Super League in my first full season at the club.
"To then repeat the feat this season, and the manner in which we achieved it, was an incredible achievement and one that will live with me for a long time.
"I would also like to thank the fans for their unbelievable support over the last two seasons. The players really appreciate the continued backing we have received throughout the season."
