Photos: Former Reds win again in Thailand
A team of Liverpool legends followed up their victory in Singapore on Saturday with another win in the Far East last night, prevailing 4-3 over a Thailand XI thanks to a Steve McManaman decider.
The selection of former stars and fan favourites took to the field at the Rajamangala Stadium for a second fixture in 48 hours and were again in fine goalscoring fettle during an end-to-end tie.
Patrik Berger, twice, and Robbie Fowler from the penalty spot were the travellers' scorers as the lead changed hands repeatedly, but the result was secured when McManaman stole into the box to tap home a rebound late on.
