Simon Mignolet insists he and his Liverpool teammates are doing 'everything we can' to produce improved performances, with a collective approach essential in the goalkeeper's opinion.

The Reds were beaten for a fourth successive outing on Sunday, surrendering an early advantage achieved through Rickie Lambert as Crystal Palace secured a 3-1 victory at Selhurst Park.

As after every fixture, Mignolet would have been assessing the key incidents and areas to improve within hours of returning from the capital, keen to find a winning formula as quickly as possible.

"We're doing everything we can to make sure we improve," the 26-year-old commented. "We all have to make sure we do our best and the performances will come.

"We have to make sure as a team we perform the best way we can and we will become stronger if we all stick together. If we want to get back to winning ways we need to do it collectively as a team, not as individuals.

"We need to create goals together and we need to defend as a unit. We're all in this together. We have to work hard and not think about yourself; it's about the team, it's about the club, it's about the supporters."

The No.22 continued: "I look at the games and I'm my biggest critic. Together with the goalkeeping coach [John Achterberg] we look at the games and we analyse everything the day after a game together.

"I look at myself and try to do my best and work hard. Obviously if confidence is high, every other player is going to be playing better. That's logic. You don't lose talent overnight, and everyone is working very hard to get back to winning games."
