The meeting was arranged at the request of the official LFC Supporters' Committee to discuss ticket pricing in more detail following their regular quarterly meeting with the club on Sunday November 30. The Committee requested that an additional meeting should take place with a smaller group of members of the Committee, together with a few additional fans to contribute to the debate.

Three members of the Supporters' Committee and fan representatives from Spion Kop 1906 and Spirit of Shankly met with club officials - the main agenda item was ticket prices.

The Supporters' Committee and fan representatives outlined their main concerns as they relate to ticket prices with particular focus on the regular match-goer. The general spirit of the discussion was a desire to work together to try to find solutions.  The club acknowledged these concerns and noted that it was important to look at ticket pricing in the wider context of the challenges of running the club in a financially stable manner.

A positive and productive discussion followed and it was agreed that a sub-group of the LFC Supporters' Committee would be formed to focus on finding workable solutions to the concerns while understanding the broad need to remain competitive in the football industry.

A meeting will be scheduled for early January to agree the framework for the sub-group and further communications will be issued at this time.
