Liverpool FC welcomed thousands of passionate local supporters to a themed stand and engagement activities at the Barclays Premier League Live event in Mumbai across the weekend.

BPL Live was held on Saturday December 13 and Sunday December 14 at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Grounds at the Bandra Kurla Complex.

As part of the free interactive experience designed for football fans of all ages, the club staged a number of unique opportunities for Indian supporters to engage with the team they follow.

Youngsters in the region were treated to LFC International Soccer Schools coaching clinics, while an official supporters' club event carried over the noise of Anfield and featured mascot Mighty Red.

Fans in attendance were encouraged to bring their own Liverpool flags and banners to decorate the club's designated stand, and were offered the chance to star on LFCTV HD by asking striker Daniel Sturridge a question on camera.

Reds legend and club ambassador Robbie Fowler, who was in Mumbai for the occasion, said: "It's been fantastic to come out to India and witness first-hand the true passion of our fans here.

"We've had a great few days, bringing a taste of Anfield to our LFC family in India. We'd like to thank our fans for making this a great event which has been enjoyed by everyone involved."
