Reds draw Besiktas in the Europa League
Liverpool have been paired with Besiktas in the last 32 of the Europa League after the draw for the tournament's first knockout round was made in Switzerland this afternoon.
Former Reds goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek helped to conduct proceedings and, after his old club had been selected, pulled out the name of the Turkish outfit as opposition.
The tie will be played over two legs on February 19 and 26, 2015.
Brendan Rodgers' side moved into this competition following their third-place finish in Group B of the Champions League and subsequent elimination last Tuesday.
Liverpool have faced Besiktas twice previously, in the Champions League group phase of 2007, losing 2-1 away from home before recording an 8-0 victory in the reverse fixture at Anfield.
