How would you like to spend time in the company of the man who is widely regarded as the finest goalkeeper in the history of Liverpool Football Club?

The iconic Ray Clemence made 665 appearances for the Reds between 1967 and 1981 - and now the prolific custodian is heading back to Merseyside to talk about life at Liverpool under the great Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.

You can be there to watch him speak openly, in conversation with the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce, about the part he played in a glorious period of the club's history.

'An Evening with Ray Clemence' will take place at Mossley Hill Royal British Legion on Friday January 30.

Tickets are priced at £25 for the event and hot food is included, as well as the unique opportunity to have a photograph taken with the European Cup, which Clemence won three times as a Liverpool player.

The event gets underway at 7pm, so if you would like to be there on what promises to be special evening, you can acquire tickets by calling 0151 724 7000 or 07801 316 561. Optionally, call in to Mossley Hill RBL on Rose Lane in person.
