Details of Anfield Road access changes
Anfield Road, between Skerries Road and Lothair Road, will be closed to traffic between January 11 and 19, 2015 as construction work continues on the expansion of the Main Stand.
The temporary road closure is to allow for diversion works to enable Anfield stadium to accommodate foundations for the new towers, which will support the steel roof truss to be installed later this year.
Whilst diversion works are ongoing, vehicle access to the stadium via Anfield Road is temporarily unavailable. Vehicle access routes to the stadium via Walton Breck Road will remain unaffected.
Diversions routes will be in place during the road closure and access for residential properties and emergency service vehicles will be maintained.
The Main Stand expansion will be completed during the 2016-17 season and will become one of the largest all-seater single stands in Europe.

For fans who have booked official LFC coach travel for Saturday's game at Aston Villa, departure will now be from Arkles Lane, opposite the Arkles pub near to the entrance of the Stanley car park. Departure time is still set for 11am and any coach tickets already purchased remain valid.
