Saturday's clean sheet was Liverpool's third in four and that new-found steeliness will be a vital weapon against Diego Costa, Oscar, Hazard and the rest.
And if the defence does its job then the pace and trickery of Sterling, Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic and co could just sneak the key away goal that would send Liverpool to Wembley.
