Brendan Rodgers has named the same starting XI that tackled Chelsea in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final for the decisive second meeting at Stamford Bridge this evening.

The Reds were the dominant side when the two rivals met on Merseyside seven days ago, though the tie ended 1-1 following goals from Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling.

Tonight's return will decide which team progresses to a Wembley final on March 1, and Rodgers has opted for a repeat of the line-up that deserved more than a draw last week.

That means five changes - Steven Gerrard, Lucas Leiva, Lazar Markovic, Alberto Moreno and Martin Skrtel are brought back after the FA Cup stalemate with Bolton Wanderers.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling.

Substitutes: Ward, Johnson, Lovren, Lambert, Lallana, Allen, Balotelli.
