Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to his Liverpool line-up for this evening's Merseyside derby – with Jordon Ibe notably named in the starting XI to face Everton.

At Goodison Park, the 19-year-old is handed a first start for the Reds since returning from a productive loan spell with Championship side Derby County midway through last month.

Midfielders Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva are also recalled to the team for the 224th clash with the Blues. Joe Allen, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic step out from the side that started Wednesday's win at Bolton Wanderers.

Daniel Sturridge's phased return sees the No.15, who scored a stunning late equaliser in the corresponding fixture last season, included among the substitutes for a third straight match.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Lucas, Henderson, Moreno, Ibe, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling.

Substitutes: Ward, Johnson, Lovren, Allen, Markovic, Lambert, Sturridge.
