Six events from Liverpool's illustrious past have been nominated as part of UEFA.com's comprehensive 'Legendary Moments' poll.

Ahead of this year's Champions League final in Berlin, UEFA has drawn up a shortlist containing 60 of the greatest moments in European Cup history.

Fans can vote online now to whittle down an extensive list of nominees to just five iconic moments, which will be turned into special installations in Berlin prior to the final in May.

The Reds' miraculous 2005 triumph over AC Milan in Istanbul is already garnering votes in the poll, while the club's first ever European Cup win, over Borussia Monchengladbach in 1977, is also available for selection.

Triumph over FC Bruges at Wembley in 1978, victory against the mighty Real Madrid in 1981 and Bruce Grobbelaar's 'wobbly legs' in 1984, back in Rome, are all included in the shortlist.

Meanwhile, the fightback against Olympiacos in December 2004, in which Steven Gerrard struck late in front of the Kop to ensure the Reds continued on the road to Istanbul, is also a nominee.

Fans taking part in the voting process have the chance to win two superb prizes - tickets to the UEFA Champions League final in Berlin, including flights and accommodation, and the chance to play on the pitch at the Olympiastation the day after the final.
