Liverpool fan, ex-marine and Invictus Games gold medallist Andy Grant is the star of a special Thursday Night Show extra this week, available free of charge on LFCTV GO.

During the feature, Andy tells host Claire Rourke of his remarkable story from being injured during service in Afghanistan to his recovery and the incredible life-changing decisions he has made ever since.

Not only did Andy win gold twice at last year's inaugural Prince Harry Invictus Games, he's now hoping to make next year's Paralympics in Rio but not before attempting to row the Atlantic to challenge himself even further.

The lifelong Red's story first came to light after images of his beloved Liverpool tattoo were released following surgery to have his leg amputated. Having previously read 'You'll Never Walk Alone,' a skin graft after the procedure removed the word 'Alone'.

As if that wasn’t enough to prepare and train for, Andy is also in the process of writing his own book and serves as a motivational speaker.

Watch our free video below to hear Andy's thoughts on the tattoo and the unbelievable list of achievements he still has ahead of him.
