Anfield to host LFC Foundation open evening
Anfield will open its doors on Wednesday March 18 to host the Liverpool FC Foundation College open evening for current Year 11 and 16-18 year-old boys and girls.
The event which will run between 6pm and 8pm GMT, will give the students the opportunity to find out more about life changing opportunities on offer for youngsters of all academic and footballing ability.
Those attending can get a photograph with an LFC first team and LFC Ladies player with the European Cup and Women's Super League trophies.
The college, which is the only category one football college in Merseyside goes from strength to strength with students being part of seven football teams playing regular fixtures.
We have two boys teams playing in the Dallas Cup, there is the girls end of season tour in Madrid and 15 students coaching with the LFC Foundation.
We had 19 students who were offered university and USA scholarships places and one player signed for a professional club this season.
