Sakho returns to All Saints
Mamadou Sakho took time out after training to visit All Saints Primary School in Anfield to continue his support work with the club's charity, the Liverpool FC Foundation.
As part of his ambassadorial role with the charity, Sakho visits the school throughout the season to assist Liverpool FC Foundation community coaches, who deliver football sessions at the school every week, as well as helping pupils with their French Language studies.
The French international said: "I have been a Foundation ambassador and a part of the 'On the Ball' initiative at All Saints School for over a year now and I really enjoy being involved and having the opportunity to give something back.
"I am really passionate about helping young people to develop and if I can play a part in this by sharing my skills and knowledge I am more than happy to support."
Andrea Cooper, head of the Liverpool FC Foundation, added: "Mamadou's ongoing input at the school continues to have a positive impact on their pupils.
"His passion for the work we do is really fantastic and we are proud to have him as a Foundation ambassador."
During his visit, Sakhowas interviewed by the BBC's Match of the Day and MOTD Kickabout presenter Ed Bearryman about the programme and his work with the club's charity to date.
Ed also spoke to Mark Haig, head of operations at the foundation, and Jeremy Barnes, headteacher at All Saints Primary School.
The feature will air on Sunday April 5 on BBC One at 7.40am and on the CBBC channel on Saturday April 11 at 7.40am.
