Liverpool FC are delighted to announce that due to the success of the Family Park at Anfield, a launch of a similar set-up will be introduced at Liverpool Ladies' first home game of the season.

Matt Beard's side host Sunderland AFC Ladies at the Select Security Stadium on Wednesday March 25, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm GMT.

The Family Park will be open from 5.45pm, with the official launch taking place at the South East Stand of the Select Security Stadium.

The activities will be located in Compound Four in Widnes and will be opened by Ladies manager Beard and Samantha Armstrong from the Liverpool FC Supporters' Committee along with LFC mascot Mighty Red.

There will be a whole host of activities on offer for children as the reigning Women's Super League champions look to kick-start their league campaign with a victory at home.

The Family Park will be open pre-match for free to families who have a matchday ticket and will have a range of activities to keep youngsters occupied, including a target cage, a freestyler show and an inflatable five-a-side pitch.

On the opening of the Family Park, Armstrong said: "We would like to encourage all families attending the game to come and enjoy the sociable atmosphere and wonderful entertainment provided at the Select Security Stadium.

"The club is committed to continuing to improve the matchday experience for families, so we look forward to welcoming new and existing families to the Liverpool Ladies' home games."
