Raheem Sterling scored one goal and created another to help England remain perfect in Euro 2016 qualifying with a 4-0 victory over Lithuania on Friday night.

The Liverpool forward played the entire match at Wembley and bagged the Three Lions' third following earlier strikes by Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.

Sterling then provided an assist for Harry Kane as Roy Hodgson's team clocked up a fifth consecutive win in Group E.

Anfield colleague Jordan Henderson was involved for 71 minutes of the clash and was the architect of Welbeck's effort just before half-time.

It was a satisfying evening for Martin Skrtel too - he captained Slovakia and featured for the whole of a 3-0 triumph against Luxembourg.

They therefore maintained their maximum record in qualifying Group C, with five victories on the run and a three-point lead over Spain.
