Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to his Liverpool team to face Arsenal – Lucas Leiva, Lazar Markovic and Kolo Toure all start at the Emirates Stadium.

The latter, a former Gunner, replaces the suspended Martin Skrtel in the Reds' defence for an important contest in the race for Champions League qualification.

Lucas is named in midfield for Adam Lallana, while Markovic joins the away attack in north London as Daniel Sturridge is named among the seven substitutes.

Also on the bench in the capital, notably, is promising Academy midfielder Cameron Brannagan, an 18-year-old who awaits his senior debut for the club.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Toure, Sakho, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Moreno, Coutinho, Markovic, Sterling.

Substitutes: Jones, Johnson, Lovren, Manquillo, Brannagan, Sturridge, Borini.
