Phil scoops Goal of the Month gong
Philippe Coutinho's stunning winner in the 2-1 win over Manchester City has been voted by fans as Liverpool's Goal of the Month for March, in association with EA SPORTS.
With just 15 minutes remaining, Liverpool's No.10 curled a simply unstoppable effort beyond the reach of Joe Hart and into the Kop end net to give Brendan Rodgers' side all three points.
Unsurprisingly, the goal was the overwhelming favourite as it picked up 53 per cent of the votes in our online supporters' poll to take the monthly accolade.
Jordan Henderson's opener in the same match against City finished runner-up with 35 per cent, while Harry Wilson's stunning winner in the mini-derby for the U21s against Everton ame came third.
Completing the top five in the results, whittled down from a 10-goal shortlist, Henderson's winner against Swansea City was fourth while Daniel Sturridge's Kop end finish against Manchester United came fifth.
