In this week's edition of Anfield 360: Added Time Didi Hamann picks out three head-to-head encounters he believes will be pivotal in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa.
Among his selection, the Reds legend has looked to the role of both goalkeepers in helping their side reach the final.
"Simon has been exceptional since coming back into the team," Hamann told LFCTV GO.
"From that point, with David de Gea, he's been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.
"If you want to enjoy success as a team you need a good cat between the sticks, someone who will bail you out at the back if you make a mistake.
"The form he is in right now, I wouldn't want anyone else in goal on Sunday."
