Allen starts as Stevie misses Hull
Brendan Rodgers makes a single change to his Liverpool line-up to face Hull City this evening - Joe Allen comes in for Steven Gerrard.
The captain's fitness had to be checked ahead of the game following cramp late on against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, and he is not included in the squad.
Allen therefore takes up position in the Reds' midfield at the KC Stadium, where three points are required to close the gap to the top four.
On the bench, meanwhile, Rickie Lambert returns and Academy youngster Cameron Brannagan again forms part of the first-team group.
