Williams gets World Cup call-up
Liverpool Ladies star Fara Williams has been named in the England squad for the forthcoming FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
The record cap holder is the sole representative from Anfield in manager Mark Sampson's squad, meaning there are no places for Gemma Bonner and Natasha Dowie.
England have been drawn in Group F and face France in their opening fixture in Moncton on Tuesday June 9.
Williams and co then take on Mexico in the same city on Saturday June 13, before their last group match against Colombia in Montreal on Wednesday June 17.
The Women's World Cup Final takes place in Vancouver on Sunday July 5.
