A team of ex-Reds managed by Ian Rush will take on their Real counterparts on June 14 at the Bernabeu, with a return meeting planned at Anfield in the future. The matches will raise funds for both club's respective foundations.
The fixture was revealed at a media briefing at the Bernabeu today - and afterwards, we caught up with Ian Ayre, Fernando Morientes, Real legend Emilio Butragueno and treasurer of the LFC Madrid supporters branch, Simon Howard.
