Reds saddened by McNamara passing
Liverpool Football Club are saddened to learn of the passing of former player, Tony McNamara.
The winger enjoyed a brief spell at Anfield after transferring across Stanley Park from Everton in December 1957.
In total, McNamara made 10 appearances and scored three goals for Liverpool before joining Crewe Alexandra in July 1958.
He passed away on Saturday morning following illness, aged 85.
