More legends sign up for Madrid clash
A number of former Anfield stars have joined the Liverpool FC Legends ranks ahead of their inaugural match against Real Madrid later this month.
Sander Westerveld, Jason McAteer, Rob Jones, Steve McManaman, Patrik Berger, Jerzy Dudek, Craig Bellamy, Salif Diao, Steve Harkness, Bjorn Tore Kvarme, Abel Xavier, Stephane Henchoz and David Thompson will line-up with Luis Garcia, Vladimir Smicer, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Harry Kewell and Jamie Carragher.
The legends - who will be managed by Ian Rush - will take on Real Madrid in their first official match at the Bernabeu on Sunday June 14.

In opposition, the Spanish giants have confirmed names such as Roberto Carlos, Fernando Hierro, Claude Makelele and Emilio Butragueño will be participating in the 5pm BST kick off.
The match, which will also include a return game, will raise funds for both clubs' charitable foundations.
All proceeds raised from this game will be donated to the Real Madrid Foundation, which develops and delivers social and cultural awareness programmes both in Spain and overseas.
The funds will be used to help children from the programme, 'Promoting School Success' which is delivered by the Spanish Red Cross, under the slogan 'Your ticket, their future.'
The return game, will raise money for the Liverpool FC Foundation. All of the proceeds from the return leg will help the Foundation to deliver a range of initiatives that inspire people from all walks of life to make positive change happen for themselves and their communities.
