Liverpool's Lazar Markovic hit the target with a fine finish on Sunday as Serbia claimed a 4-1 victory over Azerbaijan in their international friendly.

The 21-year-old was introduced to the action as a substitute after 56 minutes.

And the wide-man added extra gloss to the win for his country with a fierce shot to complete the scoring in the last minute.

Markovic stepped inside a marker at the corner of the penalty box and thrashed a low effort inside the near post.

The Reds man will hope to be involved again when Serbia face Denmark in a Euro 2016 qualifier next Saturday.
