World Cup exit for Oshoala's Nigeria
There was disappointment for Liverpool Ladies star Asisat Oshoala as Nigeria were eliminated from the Women's World Cup after a 1-0 defeat by USA in their final group game.
Abby Wambach scored the only goal seconds before the first half ended in the Vancouver encounter, to send the United States through to the knockout stages.
Oshoala played the full match, but despite creating some good chances Nigeria just couldn't find a way back.
Fara Williams will be hoping for better fortunes when England play their final group game against Colombia at 9pm BST.
