Ings: Words can't describe joining LFC
Danny Ings has explained that 'words can't describe' the feeling of securing a move to Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year-old has agreed a deal to join the Reds - subject to a medical - when his contract with Burnley expires on July 1.
It is only five years ago that Ings made his professional debut with then-League Two outfit Bournemouth, and so his switch to Anfield caps a meteoric rise through English football.
The striker, who is currently representing England at the European U21 Championship in the Czech Republic, believes that journey makes joining Liverpool all the sweeter.
But he won't be resting on his laurels when the new campaign comes around and has promised to keep pushing to improve on Merseyside.
"Words can't describe the move that I've got for myself," he told Sky Sports.
"But, at the same time, I've worked my way up from the bottom so it's even more special for me.
"It's a challenge I'm looking forward to, I'd never get complacent with anything like that.
"Now I've got that move, I'll work even harder to try and get into that team and be the best professional I can be."
