Liverpool Ladies' Fara Williams played the full game as England secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Women's World Cup on Monday night.

Mark Sampson's side claimed a 2-1 victory over Norway to progress, despite falling behind after 54 minutes to a Solveig Gulbrandsen strike.

They responded on the hour mark through Steph Houghton, before Lucy Bronze - a former Reds player - then grabbed the crucial winner.

Williams and co will now face hosts Canada in the last eight, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Saturday June 27.
