Roberto Firmino will receive help in getting used to the intensity of the Barclays Premier League from an unlikely source - one of Chelsea's star performers.

As announced by the club on Wednesday, the 23-year-old will finalise a switch to Anfield after completing a medical later this summer when Brazil's participation in the Copa America is complete.

And one of his international teammates, Willian, has already promised to give his countryman a hand in adapting.

Firmino has built up a stellar reputation with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga over the past four-and-a-half seasons but his Brazil colleague is sure he has the qualities to take on a new style of football.

"He has quality, knows how to score and he is also strong," said Willian, who joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.

"They [in England] play a different football, fast and aggressive football, and it is hard to adapt there, but he has everything to adapt.

"He will have me and other players, [Philippe] Coutinho, that will play with him, and certainly we can help him."
