Images of six people present at Hillsborough have been released to the public by Operation Resolve as part of its ongoing appeal for potential witnesses who officers wish to speak to on behalf of the coroner.

The six pictures depict four members of the public and two police officers who assisted those in need on April 15, 1989.

Thus far, Operation Resolve's appeals have seen 83 images released, with 98 identifications sought.

Of those pictured, 45 have been identified, but 53 people remain unidentified.

The latest tranche of pictures have been distributed with the aim of determining the identities of yet more people who came to the aid of those who lost their lives.

The public are asked to visit www.operationresolve.co.uk to view the gallery of pictures and they can also call 08000 283284 if they can identify an image.
