Team news: Ings and Sturridge face Villa
Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings are paired in attack as Liverpool take on Aston Villa in the Barclays Premier League at Anfield today.
Sturridge returns to the starting XI having missed the Capital One Cup win over Carlisle United in midweek, while Ings retains his place after scoring in that fixture.
Mamadou Sakho, Simon Mignolet and Lucas Leiva are also restored to the line-up as the Reds' league schedule continues, with Joe Allen on the bench after coming through an hour-long run-out in the cup.
