GOTD: Agger seals Saints Anfield victory
As we look forward to Sunday's Anfield clash with Southampton, our Goal of the Day goes back to 2012 when Daniel Agger netted the winner against the Saints.
After Luis Suarez's free-kick had come back off the bar, Glen Johnson kept the play alive down the right flank. His accurate left-footed cross was then met by a magnificent header from the Danish international, who powered the ball beyond the reach of Paulo Gazzaniga.
It turned out to be the only goal of the game as Liverpool made it a winning start to the festive month of December.
