GOTD: Baros nets on Anfield debut
Former Liverpool striker Milan Baros celebrates his 34th birthday today and to mark the occasion we're taking a look back at his Anfield debut.
The Czech striker, who joined the Reds from Banik Ostrava in his homeland, kicked off his first full season in England by netting twice in his maiden Barclays Premier League appearance, a 3-2 away win over Bolton.
A first outing at Anfield beckoned a week later, and Baros did not disappoint expectant fans as he headed home the opening goal in a 2-0 victory against West Brom.
