After Liverpool signed off October with a memorable comeback victory over Chelsea, it's now time to choose your Standard Chartered Player of the Month.

A run of seven games started with a 1-1 draw against FC Sion in the Europa League and the Merseyside derby ended with the same scoreline, before Jürgen Klopp took charge during the subsequent international break.

The German’s opening match saw the Reds turn in an encouraging performance amid a goalless stalemate with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Successive 1-1 results at Anfield followed, with Rubin Kazan and then Southampton each extending Klopp’s wait for a first win at the helm.

But that did arrive when Liverpool hosted Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup fourth round, Nathaniel Clyne scoring the only goal of the game to secure progress.

And they saved their best until last in October – Chelsea were vanquished 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the month courtesy of a Philippe Coutinho brace and one from Christian Benteke.

But who was the Reds’ star performer?

Every player who featured for the first team is eligible for the prize and you can have your say on the recipient now by casting a vote in our online poll below.
