GOTD: Hamann's sensational City volley
Today's Goal of the Day heads back to December 2003 and a sensational effort from Dietmar Hamann away at Manchester City.
Danny Murphy's corner was only half cleared, and the German produced a thunderous volley with his left foot that flew past David Seaman and into the back of the net.
Hamann's effort had put the Reds 2-1 up in Gerard Houllier's 100th top-flight game in sole charge of the club, but Robbie Fowler of all people was to have the last laugh as he netted a 90th minute equaliser.
