Team news: Sturridge starts against Southampton
Daniel Sturridge makes his first Liverpool start for two months as the Reds take on Southampton in their Capital One Cup quarter-final this evening.
Having featured as a second-half substitute against Swansea City on Sunday, the striker is in from the off at St Mary’s.
He is joined in attack by Adam Lallana and Divock Origi, while Adam Bogdan is between the posts and Connor Randall plays at right-back.
Jordan Henderson is named on the bench as he continues his recovery from injury, and Lucas Leiva captains the team.
