2016 LFC Players' Awards to take place on May 10
The Liverpool FC Players' Awards will return for a third year and take place on Tuesday May 10 in the city's Exhibition Centre.
The prestigious event which celebrates the first team, Ladies and Academy players as well as former players and supporters, launched in 2014.
The club’s annual event gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favourite players to win a range of accolades – including Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Goal of the Season, as well as awards for former players and staff.
Billy Hogan, the Reds’ chief commercial officer, said: “We’re very much looking forward to this prestigious event which celebrates everything that’s great about the club, from former players to staff to fans.
“Our third annual Liverpool FC Players’ Awards 2016 will be a very special occasion, not only because we’re celebrating the fans’ choice of award winners, but because the event will raise funds for the LFC Foundation and the local initiatives it supports.”
Fans will be able to attend the event through money-can’t-buy competitions which will launch in the coming weeks.
